KaleidoGlobe Holiday Plate

This afternoon I started pulling out all the Christmas decorations and arranging my home for decorating.  I came across a gold charger plate that I usually put 3 pillar candles on, but looking at it I thought it would be great to put a Holiday KaleidoGlobe in the center.

So I rushed off to my craft room and got my ruler and measured the inside of the plate - 8" - great, I'll print a KaleidoGlobe at 7.5" and it will fit perfect.  Here's the result.

This was such a quick and easy project, took me less then 15 mins. start to finish. Basically I printed the KaleidoGlobe on Matt finish photo paper as I didn't want to much shine, then using double sided tape attached it to the charger plate. That way I can remove it when Christmas is over...or maybe not!

A round kaleidoscope would look awesome on this plate as well.  I'll have to keep that in mind for another occasion.

Don't forget you still have a chance to win a free set of these KaleidoGlobes.  Just "Like" us on Facebook and you will automatically be entered into the daily drawing - ends Friday Dec. 10th.  The Facebook link is to the right of this posting.
