Holiday Pop-Up Cards

Every year I say I'm going to make my own Christmas cards and get them mailed out in a timely manner....well, this year I did it!  Not only have they been mailed out but I'm offering them as a cutting files!

The cards where cut out on my Pazzles machine then I embossed the top portion of the card with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  I used a glue pen to outline some of the embossing then sprinkled with fine glitter (doesn't show up very well in the photo) but adds a beautiful sparkle.  The ornament card has a 2" kaleidoscope in the center.  The finished cards measure 8.5" x 5.5" open and 5.5" x 4.25" closed.

This photo shows a side view of the Kaleidoscope Ornament Pop-Up.  Dazzling Reflections was used to design a 2" kaleidoscope for the center.

This photo shows a side view of the Snowflake Pop-Up.  Silver glitter was applied to the snowflake for a little extra dazzle.

The last card, but certainly not least, Christmas Tree Pop-Up card has a separate tree cut out in green cardstock, embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder then applied over the tree base.  Glitter was added to the tree and a gold pen was used to finish off the star.  I also used a silver marker to add dots behind the pop-up to look like falling snow.

  1. Your cards look great. The Cuttlebug embossing is a nice touch.
