This past weekend I spent some time making Christmas cards. I wanted to do something special and came up with this idea of using a kaleidoscope to make a Christmas tree. Not only is it unique, but economical .... one kaleidoscope yields 8 trees.
This first card shows a curved edge bottom to the tree, this is accomplished by using one of the circle kaleidoscopes.
This second tree shows a straight edge bottom, this is accomplished using an eight sided kaleidoscope.
I used glitter from PK Glitz, various Cuttlebug embossing folders, and rhinestones to embellish the cards. Click below to view a video tutorial showing you how to make both these trees.
